Facts about the "Flying Circus" Patch.
Duke McKinney reports that this patch was in use by the unit when he joined it in Tay Ninh at the end of 1969. Ed Maycen does not recall seeing it until after the move to Bien Hoa, around mid 1970. Mike Caifa also believes that it was designed and produced around mid 1970, and recalls that it was still in use when he left in March of 1971.
It is not known who designed the patch.
